TAX CREDIT OPPORTUNITY

Did you know you can receive a TAX CREDIT for your donation of cash to Sts. Peter & Paul School?  The State of Idaho more than doubled the Educational Tax Credit in 2011 and kept that credit level for 2014.  In addition to taking federal & state deductions for your charitable contributions, you can claim an Idaho State Tax Credit which directly reduces for state tax liability.  What does this mean?  Your charitable donation could cost you much less than you thought!  If you are a corporation, you too are eligible for a tax credit up to 10% of the corporation's total income or $5,000, whichever is less.

VARIOUS WAYS TO DONATE

You can donate to the school by transferring either farm commodities or securities.  Talk to your financial advisor about both options.

ANGEL FUND

Although our tuition is the lowest in Idaho, some of our families, whose names always remain anonymous, are unable pay the full amount.  We recognize that young families face high expenses and we allow families to pay what they can.  To make up some of the difference, we have begun an "Angel Fund" and publish the list of donors each year.   Our donors believe in the importance of a Catholic education and many remember the lean times of balancing the medical bills for births, the clothing & nutritional needs of growing children, along with car payments and a mortgage.    Some of our "angels" are familes who once needed help themselves, some are current families who see the need and others are concerned community members who want to make a good investment.  We welcome help in all amounts.  Donations should be clearly marked "Angel Fund" and sent Sts. Peter & Paul School, 330 South "B" Street, Grangeville, ID  83530.

VOLUNTEERS

Our school NEEDS volunteers.    Whether you would like to volunteer on a weekly basis or on an occasional basis, we can put you on a list of people to notify of up-coming volunteer opportunities.  We also publish weekly, upcoming opportunities in our school newsletter, a link for which is on the Home page of this website.   Please note that for the safety of our students, as well as your own safety, you must take a two hour Safe Environment class prior to any volunteering that puts you in direct contact with our students.  Please call the school at 983-2182, to be put on our volunteer list.
