SPPS thrives because families take an active part in school life.

Family participation helps SPPS provide the strong, close-knit school community our students enjoy.
Families may complete service hours through work on the school campus, approved school fundraisers, Home & School activities, and other school volunteer needs.
2026–2027 Family Service Requirement
Family involvement is an important part of the SPPS community and of our partnership in educating children.
Parents support school life in many ways, from classroom reading and instructional help to coaching, fundraising, cleaning, special events, and other work around the school.
Home & School meetings keep families informed about school and classroom activities and provide a place to organize fundraisers and other ways parents can support SPPS. Parents and grandparents alike contribute generously to the life of the school.
Home & School meets five times during the school year.
