Volunteer Hours
Please find your volunteer sheet in your family envelope. Don’t forget to keep track of your hours and to send them in to make sure you are credited correctly. Amber Beeson is our record keeper this year, you may email your hours to Amber at: abeeson@fs.fed.us or return them to the office in your family envelope.

Thank you to everyone who swiped their blue Albertson's card while shopping there and helping our school earn money through the store's Community Partner's program. This program will be ending January 31, 2010. It was a good fund raiser while it lasted.

Campbell's Labels for Education (www.labelsforeducation.com)
Clip the UPC with the picture of the Labels for Education Logo. Then turn them in to the school. An example of what to turn in is below.

French Toast, a popular school uniform company, has a "Dollars in Uniforms" school fundraising program. Our school will receive 5% cash back for every sale by phone or through the Frenchtoast.com website that includes our school's unique source code.

SPPS's unique source code is: QS46GS8

To participate, simply order items from the French Toast catalog by calling or through the Frechtoast.com website. Give them our school's source code number, and 5% of your order will be added to the school's account. Then twice a year, the school will receive a check. You may purchase your uniforms anywhere, but if you do buy from French Toast, please use the source code so we earn money from your purchases.

-Ink Cartridge Recycling

SPPS recycles all ink cartridges (inkjets, lasers, and toners) from computer printers, fax machines, and desktop copiers. The cartridges are then sent to various recycling companies. These companies pay us various amounts for each cartridge, depending upon demand. Cell phones, digital cameras, laptops, and PDA’s are recycled in a similar manner.

Please bring these recyclables to the school. Laser cartridges should be in their original boxes with its packing materials. Cell phones do not need any of their cords. Help spread the word around the area and encourage businesses to recycle with us. If it is inconvenient for anyone to drop them off at the school or the back of the church, please have them call the school or Teresa Seloske and arrangements will be made to get them picked up.

 Ink cartridge recycling is a fundraiser for the school, with the money earned being used for purchasing new library books and Accelerated Reader Tests.

Safeway Card

This program is called Escrip. Supporters need to register their Safeway cards first. This can be done online at www.escrip.com. Information that is needed is as follows: Your name, address, and phone number, as well as the 11 digit Safeway Club Card Number. You will also need to know the following:

Once your Safeway card is registered with our school, all you need to do is swipe your card when you shop at Safeway. Up to 4% of your purchases will go to our school. Once a month Escrip will electronically deposit our income into our school account. How slick is that?!

Magazine Drive
The bad news is that we didn’t make the movie goal. The good news is that we still will clear $5,000, and that is what the sale is really all about. Thank you all for your hard work on this fund-raiser. Remember, this is an on going sale, you can sell magazines at any time all year long. Check out www.qsp.com to order. Our school is listed and our online code is 425009001, we will get 40% of the sales for our school . The magazine drive is held every year, with the funds raised to help purchase new textbooks
